CAW: Alyse by ixKipi

I requested Alyse here by ixKipi on Gaiaonline.

Alyse by ixKipi

I think the picture is adorable.

It’s a chibi-style. Which, for those unfamiliar, is a Japanese style designed to make the characters seem smaller (childlike), with exaggerated features and is more akin to what would be a cartoon.

It shows her personality well. Happy.

Which is perhaps a bit odd, considering her story. Nevertheless, here’s Alyse! :3

CAW: Desarmement Characters

Still using Lunaii’s Dollmaker. It’s just very easy to use.

This preview only shows three characters. A surprise compared to the other two I posted.

That’s because Desarmement has fewer recurring characters presently. There are two reasons for that: this story is less romance and group inclusive, and because Adrienne does not take note of many people.

Adrienne is the main character, Soroth is an acquaintance/friend/partner of hers, and Rana is a friend/employee of hers.

Soroth looks far more effeminate in this picture than he should. He also looks far more attractive than he should. He is not ugly, but he is also not traditionally handsome. He is simply charming enough that no one cares.

Rana actually looks pretty good, considering she was the latest addition to the group. She’s a cambion and perhaps the most eccentric of the group.

CAW: The Exiled Characters

Yet again I am using Lunaii Dollmaker.

Mairwen, Finn, Ciar and Aonghus

This time it is characters from the Exiled Storyline.

Some notable differences between this image and the actual character faces is that Mairwen and Finn’s facial tattoos are not included.

Yes, Finn and Ciar are identical twins. Yes, there is a major personality difference between the two of them.

Mairwen, Finn, and Ciar are Maegi (or Seelie), while Aonghus is an Urisk.

The Exiled story is intended to be a series of short stories and novellas, with perhaps one novel.

CAW: Noble Bard Characters

Once again I have shown my favoritism for using Lunaii Dollmaker.

Alyse, Kaine, Caalix and Lucretia

These are the four main characters from ‘The Noble Bard’

Alyse is actually the only main character that is a human in this setting. I’m trying to shy away from that.

You’ve already seen images of Alyse and Caalix, so you are somewhat familiar with them.

The other two are Kaine, who is half-Sidhe, and Lucretia, who is a Korrigan.

You may notice that Lucretia, unlike the Korrigan in the sample pictures, does not have wings. This is on purpose. It is also explained in the novel to some extent.

CAW: Adrienne Inspiration Meme

After all of those avatars of the Noble Bard and Exiled setting races, I decided that it might be a good time to sneak Adrienne in.

This is an inspiration chart. They’re cycling all over Deviantart, courtesy of IzzyWinkle.

This shows some of the characters that I was inspired by when creating Adrienne. No, their size has little to do with how much they inspired the character.

I have realized that I could add more characters to this. Including Black Widow (Avengers), and a few more.

Can’t remember the others at the moment, but you get the idea.

You may recognize the artwork from a previous post. It is a coloured version of that sketch.

CAW: NB/E Races Maegi

Race avatars made using Lunaii Dollmaker.

Commonly called Maegi (as they are the most magical race), but also called Seelie amongst themselves.

Easily the most reclusive and xenophobic race. The pictures shown are the most common skin tone, but they tan easily and darker skins can be found. Especially among the exiled.

They were, at one time, one of the ruling races, and they are one of the ancient races. However, they are the only of the ancient races that play an important role in the stories.

Ciar, Finn and Mairwen are all Maegi. Finn and Mairwen are specifically exiled Maegi.

CAW: NB/E Races Korrigan

Made using Lunaii Dollmaker once again.

The Korrigan have so far been the most fun to design.

The traditional folklore has little that I could work with, as well as varying information.

So I chose what I wanted to use and discarded what I didn’t. They are also perhaps (along with the Haltija, who come in second), the most varied from their traditional mythology.

Lucretia from the Noble Bard is a Korrigan.
